I think celebrating his life with puns is totally appropriate, and certainly what Gary would do. I would submit that such humor was what he dedicated his laughtime to. Now there is a great disturbance in the farce.

It is with great sadness that I must tell you that our dear friend Gary Hallock passed away yesterday evening. He passed peacefully and painlessly at home with his wife, sons, and granddaughters at his bedside. He was in home hospice care for the last week or two, receiving palliative care. I was with him just four hours before he passed, and he was sleeping in no apparent pain. No plans have been announced for a memorial service, but a tribute will be planned at the next Pun-Off.
